They are our friends...

They possess an indomitable spirit...
Molly was abandoned when Hurricane Katrina hit. She suffered a severely damaged right front leg and was taken to LSU where surgery was performed and a prosthetic leg replaced her damaged leg.We owe the horse a great debt of gratitude.
American Horse Rescue Network helps pay that debt by rescuing horses that are neglected, abused or slaughter-bound. We are there for them...please join us.Join the American Horse Rescue Network
Our Mission
To assist in the rescue of horses and all equines who are slaughter-bound, neglected or abused and to provide grants to qualified equine organizations to help facilitate their rescue efforts and operations.
Educate
AHRN provides education programs for America’s youth to provide a foundation for America’s next generation of horse advocates. This website will provide the public with information about the many problems our American equines constantly face.
Rescue
Our job is to facilitate the rescue of equines throughout the USA by networking and by alerting agencies and advocates on the ground who can help move the animals away from danger and to a safe place until a proper home can be found.
Join AHRN
Join us in our work to provide America’s equines with the happier and brighter future they have earned and so richly deserve.
